Tiramisu is made up of alternating layers of ladyfingers soaked in espresso and coffee liqueur and mascarpone whipped cream sprinkled with cocoa powder&period; It&&num;8217&semi;s a very simple recipe that can be done in 40 minutes or less and the result is <em>buonissimo<&sol;em>&excl; I love the combination of coffee&comma; chocolate and cream &&num;8211&semi; super refreshing and indulgent in a light way&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>So for my recipe&comma; I made a few small variations&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<ol>&NewLine;<li>No eggs &&num;8211&semi; This tiramisu recipe is without eggs for 2 reasons&period; First of all&comma; I know that not everyone is comfortable eating raw eggs even though they are pasteurised&period; Secondly&comma; it just makes it all the more quick &amp&semi; easy to whip up and tastes just as amazing&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Coffee liqueur &&num;8211&semi; I used Kahlúa coffee liqueur&comma; you can use any brand that you like or even opt for an alcohol-free tiramisu by omitting it completely&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Cocoa powder on both cream layers &&num;8211&semi; Chocolate is just delicious and the bitterness from the cocoa powder balances everything really nicely&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>&nbsp&semi;Piping on top &&num;8211&semi; I do this extra step to make it look more aesthetically-pleasing&comma;
