How to make no churn Kinder Bueno ice cream sandwiches

The process of making these ice cream sandwiches is as simple as it gets. All you need is a little bit of patience and a lot of anticipation for the refreshing goodness that’s about to come your way.

First, you assemble the base by placing a layer of wafers in a rectangular springform pan, lined with parchment. This provides a satisfying crunch and a sturdy foundation for the ice cream layers.

Next, you pour a generous amount of luscious hazelnut spread ice cream on top of the wafers. The coolness of the ice cream combined with the crispiness of the wafers is an absolute delight.

But we’re not done yet! We add another layer of pure bliss by pouring a creamy milk chocolate on top of the hazelnut layer. After freezing overnight, you can clean up the edges with a knife, then slice into 6 sandwiches.

Now, if you’re feeling extra indulgent, you can dip the edges of the ice cream sandwiches in melted chocolate for a decadent finishing touch. It’s totally optional, but it adds an extra layer of richness and indulgence.

The result? A refreshing, creamy, and utterly delicious treat that will satisfy your sweet tooth and leave you wanting more.

So, it’s time to assemble these mouthwatering no-churn Kinder Bueno ice cream sandwiches and experience a moment of pure delight. The combination of flavors and textures is simply irresistible. Trust me, you won’t be able to resist taking another bite.

The irresistible delight of homemade No-Churn Kinder Bueno Ice Cream Sandwiches are incredibly easy to make and oh-so-delicious!

Prep Time 2 hours
Chill Time 16 hours
Total Time 18 hours

Ingredients

Milk Chocolate Ice Cream

  • 100 ml whipping cream
  • 100g milk chocolate, finely chopped
  • 100g condensed milk

Hazelnut Spread Ice Cream

  • 100 ml whipping cream
  • 3 tbsp hazelnut spread (not the chocolate kind)
  • 100g condensed milk

Assembling

  • Ice Cream Wafers

Instructions

    1. First, melt your milk chocolate with the whipping cream in the microwave or over bain marie. Stir every 1 minute until smooth. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until it is completely cool.
    2. In the meantime, prepare the hazelnut mixture by whisking the whipping cream to stiff peaks. Add in the hazelnut spread and fold with a spatula. Pour in the condensed milk and gently fold again until combined.
    3. Assemble the base by placing a layer of wafers in a rectangular springform pan, lined with parchment. Pour the luscious hazelnut spread ice cream on top of the wafers. Freeze for around 4 hours until set.
    4. While the first layer is in the freezer, move on to the next step. Once the milk chocolate cream mixture is cold, whisk also to stiff peaks. Fold in the condensed milk until combined. Refrigerate until ready to use.
    5. Take out the ice cream from the freezer. Add a layer of creamy milk chocolate ice cream on top of the hazelnut layer. Top it off with another layer of wafers while pressing them in slightly.  Freeze overnight or until completely set. Remove from the pan and clean the edges if needed by cutting around it. Slice into 6 sandwiches.
    6. If you’re feeling extra indulgent, you can dip the edges of the ice cream sandwiches in melted chocolate for a decadent finishing touch. It’s totally optional, but it adds an extra layer of richness and indulgence.
    7. Enjoy your Kinder Bueno ice cream sandwiches!

Notes

Tip: Use glass or steel bowls for the ice cream mixtures as it helps you get better stiff peaks when whisking - especially if the bowl is also cold due to refrigeration.

Storage: Wrap each individual sandwich in parchment paper, followed by aluminium foil. Keep in the freezer or up to 2 months.

Ingredients: For lactose-free and gluten-free ice cream, use vegan condensed milk, lactose & gluten-free whipping cream, and gluten-free wafers.
