How to make no churn ice cream without a machine
To make homemade ice-cream, you don’t need an ice cream machine. The only tools you need are 2 bowls, a spatula, and a whisk or electric mixer, which also means very little clean-up afterwards. I suggest using an electric mixer to reach the desired whipping cream peaks.
To make any no-churn ice cream, you will need three basic ingredients: condensed milk, whipped cream, and flavourings. In this case, we are using milk chocolate, nutella, and hazelnuts.
As always, let me know if you make this, I’d love to see!
Happy indulging,

No-Churn Nutella Ice Cream
No-Churn Nutella Ice Cream is perfect for summer. If you're looking for a quick and easy ice cream recipe without a machine, look no further.
Smooth, chocolatey, and delicious, you won't be able to resist scoop after scoop.
Ingredients
- 400ml whipping cream (approx. 1 1/2 cups)
- 100g milk chocolate
- 225g nutella (approx. 3/4 cup) + some more to swirl
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (397g)
- Crushed hazelnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the milk chocolate with the whipping cream. Add the nutella while still warm and stir well until completely smooth. Refrigerate until cold, at least 1 hour, then whisk with a handheld machine until medium peaks form.
- In a large separate bowl, pour in the condensed milk. Transfer 1/3 of the nutella whipped cream into the bowl and gently fold. Repeat this process until the mixture is all in one bowl. Do not skip this step as this will ensure the whipped cream doesn't deflate.
- Pour the nutella ice cream mixture into a freezer-safe container or dish with a lid. Optional (but recommended) - Swirl nutella and sprinkle hazelnuts in the middle layer and again on top.
- Freeze for at least 3 hours or ideally overnight to set. Leave out at room temperature for around 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy scooped in a glass, on a cone or as a milkshake!
